What's Your Next Plan "Rafa"?

Arsenal came from behind to win at Anfield last night. Dirk Kuyt had put Liverpool ahead four minutes before the break but Arsene Wenger believes he can still frighten his players into turning defeat into victory. Trailing 1-0 at Liverpool, the Arsenal boss launched a furious broadside at his team at half-time and that was enough to galvanise Arsenal into a comeback. Glen Johnson's own goal just after half-time had handed Arsenal an equaliser. Then Andrey Arshavin took Arsenal the lead with his smart finish and gave Arsenal a 2-1 victory.

Benitez fumed (Rafa rages over penalty snub): "It does not matter whether the ball has gone away from the player, it is still a penalty if you bring him down. These decisions can make a massive difference."

Public Enemies

Johnny Depp stars as legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger, a charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids and audacious jailbreaks made him America's first Public Enemy Number One, target of J. Edgar Hoover's fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis -- and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann and co-starring Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard, it's the thrilling saga of the notorious, larger-than-life gangster that no one could stop and no jail could hold.

Sorry David

David Beckham has been left devastated over the death of his grandfather. The soccer star - who has three sons, Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz, with wife Victoria Beckham - was told 83-year-old Joe West had passed away shortly after he arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, to help England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
David's family - including his mother Sandra, Joe's daughter - have urged him to stay in Cape Town for the time being to fulfil his commitments to the bid.

A friend said: 'David is absolutely devastated. He was so close to Joe, who was his mentor. 'He'd only just got off the plane when he heard the news. His family are urging him to stick to his work commitments and leave at the end of the week, but there is no way that David wants to miss Joe's funeral. If he has to fly home, then so be it.'

David was extremely close to his grandfather - who had been stricken with a serious illness in August - and often cited him as his sporting inspiration.David's eldest son Brooklyn has the middle name Joseph in honour of Joe.

Made It Healthy

With some minor ingredient adjustments, this longtime favourite dish can be enjoyed without the caloric or fat guilt.

Using low fat coconut milk can make this classic Asian dish a non-guilty pleasure. According to Claire James, a registered, senior dietician at The Food Clinic (www.thefoodclinic.com), instead of regular coconut milk, use half the amount of regular coconut milk and top it up to full volume with skimmed milk. You can reduce the fat even more by using a small amount of oil for stir-frying will help reduce the fat content further. If you have time, make your own vegetable or chicken stock using only a pinch of salt to keep the sodium level down.

No, New Moon Absolutely, Positively Didn't Beat Dark Knight

Twi-hards, you were right: New Moon's Sunday box office was bigger than estimated.

Twi-hards, you were wrong: New Moon wasn't big enough to dethrone The Dark Knight as Hollywood's all-time opening-weekend champ. (Or, for that matter, to displace No. 2, Spider-Man 3.)

Final numbers released today show that the Twilight sequel finished the weekend with a spectacular $142.8 million, up from the, well, spectacular $140.7 million of first reports.

In the end, New Moon made $72.7 million on Friday, $42.3 million Saturday and $27.8 million on Sunday.

Twi-hards, take note: Next time, the Dark Knight-beating number you're looking for on Sunday (assuming the other returns stay the same) is $43.5 million.

Johnny Depp named People's "sexiest man alive"

NEW YORK - "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp was named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" on Wednesday, reclaiming a title he first won in 2003.

Depp, whom People described as "the king of cool with the killer cheekbones," succeeded 2008 winner Hugh Jackman. Other stars who have received the honor twice include George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

"Whether it's onscreen in roles like Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise or at home with his family on their private Bahamian island, the 46-year-old father of two with 25 years in show business still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast," People said in a statement.

Past winners include Matt Damon in 2007, George Clooney in 2006, Matthew McConaughey in 2005, Jude Law in 2004, Ben Affleck in 2002, Pierce Brosnan in 2001 and Brad Pitt in 2000.

The Last Word

DIY Pumpkin Yogurt

I love pumpkin-flavored anything — pies, muffins, cheesecake, even ice cream! But gorging on too many sweet pumpkin treats can leave me with a sick stomach full of unhealthy fats and sugars. One way I've been satisfying my pumpkin cravings is by making my own pumpkin-flavored yogurt at home.

It's really easy to do, just mix plain yogurt with canned pumpkin puree. If you're trying to cut back on sugar, use 100 percent pure pumpkin puree and add your own spices and sweetener. If you want the instant flavors of pumpkin pie, mix yogurt up with canned pumpkin pie puree that's been sweetened with sugar and spices.

I sometimes use vanilla yogurt with the pure pumpkin mix just to give it a little sweetness, and if I'm craving the texture of pumpkin pie, a nice sprinkling of healthy granola or oats seems to do the trick.

Planting Potatoes In Idaho

An old Arab guy who had lived in Idaho for many years needed to get the plot behind his house turned over so he could put potatoes in. As he was too old to do it himself he sent his only son an email asking him to come back from his studies in France and dig the land over.

His son emailed back:
Dear Father,GOD FOBID that you dig over the earth in that plot.
I've hidden " you know what" there. Don't let anybody dig around there!

With all my love,
Ali

Next morning, at 4.00 am, the local police, the FBI, the CIA and a Pentagon delegation came and dug over the whole plot, looking, of course, for weapons of mass destruction.

Later that morning an email came from Ali:
Dear Father,I am sure you can plant your potatoes now.
It was the best I could do for you in the circumstances.

With all my love,
Ali
